Job Overview:
Lafiesta loca is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Accountant with expertise in various accounting functions to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in financial accounting, tax accounting, payroll management, and accounts receivable/payable. This role is essential to ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting:
Prepare and manage financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Tax Accounting:
Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Provide tax planning advice and strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Accounts Receivable & Payable:
Handle invoicing, payment collections, and manage customer accounts.
Process supplier payments and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Payroll Accounting:
Administer payroll, calculate employee wages, bonuses, and statutory deductions.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
Prepare regular financial reports and assist management with strategic financial planning.
Analyze financial data to support business decisions and optimize financial performance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial accounting, tax accounting, and payroll.
Familiarity with tax laws and payroll regulations.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
