Job Title: General Ledger Accountant
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting monthly close activities, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post monthly general ledger entries, including journals and accruals.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and perform analytical reviews.
Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process in accordance with IFRS.
Analyze accounting data related to cash accruals, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and foreign exchange transactions.
Provide accurate and timely accounting information to internal stakeholders when required.
Collaborate with various departments to resolve accounting issues and respond to related queries.
Reconcile general ledger and revenue accounts.
Review financial reports and explain variances from budget or prior periods.
Ensure accounting records are maintained in compliance with documentation retention policies.
Prepare financial analyses and reports to support business decision-making.
Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements, direct tax filings, and VAT reporting.
Support internal and external audit activities, including timely resolution of audit findings.
Ensure adherence to company policies and internal control procedures.
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience.
Fluent English speaker.
