We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software product’s features.
Business Analyst will take the core requirements from stakeholders and translate them into better conceptual designs which are ready to be provided to the software development team.
Responsibilities
· Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
· Perform quality assurance
· Define reporting and alerting requirements
· Help design, document and maintain system processes
· Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the product team
· Communicate key insights and findings to the product team
· Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
· Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
· Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
· Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
· Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
· Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
· Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
· Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
· Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements
· Implement processes and procedure to ensure quality.
· Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Requirements
· Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis and Quality Assurance
· BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
· Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
· Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
· Solid experience in writing SQL queries
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills in Arabic and English
· Proven work experience in software development (Mobile and web applications)
· Proven work experience in software quality assurance
· Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
· Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
· Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
· Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
· Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
· Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
· BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
· Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
· Solid organizational skills including attention to details and multi-tasking skills
· Positive attitude. Willing to hit the ground running to post the company to the next level up.
· CTFL certify
· PMI-PBA is plus
