Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote
Department: Engineering / IT Operations
Reporting To: Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and take ownership of the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our systems by automating deployment pipelines, monitoring environments, and promoting a DevSecOps culture across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to build and release software efficiently.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
 Monitor system performance, availability, and security using observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
 Ensure infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements
 Manage cloud infrastructure (GCP, OCI …) with a focus on scalability, cost-efficiency, and resilience.
 Develop and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments.
 Implement and advocate DevSecOps best practices throughout the SDLC.
 Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and lead root cause analysis.
 Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
 6 - 8+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role.
 Proficiency with cloud platforms (GCP, OCI … etc).
 Strong experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
 Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
 Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) skills with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
 Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.
 Strong understanding of networking, security principles, and system administration.
 Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.

Preferred Qualifications:
 Certification in cloud technologies
 Experience with service mesh technologies
 Knowledge of serverless architecture and event-driven design.
 Exposure to incident response and disaster recovery planning.
