RESPONSIBILLITIES:
May work on development, standardization, value engineering, and improvement efforts of product line
May travel to fabricators, vendors, regional offices, and customer job sites as required in support of sales, procurement, fabrication, and installation efforts
Responsible for overall design integrity of the product
Responsible for on-time, on budget, and quality of engineering packages for individual projects
Reviews and approves design drawing.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline is required
Passing of Engineer in Training / Fundamentals of Engineering exam is required
Proficient in engineering fundamentals including but not limited to Machine Design, Mechanics of Materials, Statics, Vibrations, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics
Experience with engineering design tools (MathCad, Solidworks, etc.)
Experience and knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and associated software is preferred
Proficient in change management and conflict resolution
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
