We are seeking a passionate and motivated Aerothermal Application Engineer to join our engineering team in Giza's Smart Village. This is a unique opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to apply their academic background in heat transfer and thermofluids to real-world industrial challenges.

You will work on programs focused on thermal analysis of high-voltage battery systems, internal combustion engines, underhood airflow, HVAC systems, and other industrial applications involving heat exchange and thermal management.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and validate 3D CFD models for aerothermal and thermal systems.
Set up and execute simulations related to battery cooling, engine heat transfer, and cabin HVAC systems.
Analyze simulation results and extract performance insights to support engineering decisions.
Prepare clear technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams using hybrid tools and platforms.
Learn and evolve within OPTUMATICS’ proprietary workflow and quality systems.

Minimum Qualifications
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with a focus on thermofluids or heat transfer.
0–2 years of academic, internship, or professional experience in thermal or fluid simulation projects.
Strong understanding of heat transfer modes (conduction, convection, radiation) and thermodynamics.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
Familiarity with aerodynamics and thermal management challenges in automotive systems.
Basic experience in CFD tools such as ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, Simcenter, or OpenFOAM.
Ability to interpret simulation data, post-process results, and draw engineering conclusions.
Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for data analysis or automation is a plus.
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced engineering environment.
