Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Support Engineer I to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide top-tier customer service. As a first-level support engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving IT issues while escalating complex problems as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, or remote access tools.
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for clients.
* Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and updates to ensure optimal performance.
* Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of workstations, servers, and networking equipment.
* Manage and track support tickets through the IT service management system.
* Escalate complex issues to higher-level engineers as needed.
* Assist clients with user account management, password resets, and software installations.
* Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to improve knowledge base content.
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
Qualifications & Skills
* 1+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role (MSP experience preferred).
* Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
* Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
* Familiarity with Office 365, Active Directory, and remote desktop tools.
* Experience troubleshooting common IT issues related to hardware, printers, and peripherals.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiar with ticketing systems.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English is a MUST.

* Must work during USA business hours (4 PM - 1 AM EG time).
* A passion for learning and keeping up with emerging technologies.
* Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Fundamentals are a plus.
