Tester

Overview

We are seeking talented individuals to join dPhish's testing team and contribute to the ongoing development of our phishing detection and response engine .

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the creation, execution, and maintenance of test cases based on product
requirements, user stories, and design documents.
• Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications, identifying bugs and
inconsistencies in functionality, performance, and usability.
• Report defects in a clear and concise manner using defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira,
Bugzilla) and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in team meetings, such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups, to provide input
and stay aligned with project goals.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior testers to understand product
features and assist with the design of effective test scenarios.
• Conduct basic regression, functional, and exploratory testing of new and updated
features.
• Support the maintenance and execution of automated tests under the guidance of senior
team members.
• Help with test data creation, test environment setup, and preparing test reports.
• Ensure consistent adherence to testing standards and best practices.
• Continuously improves knowledge of software testing tools, techniques, and
methodologies.
• Exposure to test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, or
Python) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
Basic knowledge of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Understanding databases and basic SQL queries for validating data.
• Experience with mobile or desktop application testing is a plus.
