Supply Chain Manager is needed to be hired for a very well-known Chemicals Manufacturing Co. in Alexandria
Responsibilities:
Oversee and continuously improve Raw Material, Spare Parts, and Work-in-Progress Warehouses, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Establish and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to reduce waste, optimize stock levels, and improve turnover rates.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure cost-effective, high-quality, and timely materials.
Evaluate and approve price quotations for spare parts and major projects, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and financial constraints.
Develop and implement logistics performance KPIs, including on-time delivery rates, inventory accuracy, supplier lead times, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with production and planning managers to align inventory availability with production schedules, ensuring uninterrupted operations and optimal resource utilization.
Qualifications:
10 years experience in supply chain "Warehouse, Logistics & Local Purchasing"
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), procurement software, data analytics, and inventory management tools are highly preferable.
Very Good command of English is a must
An advanced degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) are preferable.
