We are hiring Systems and Network Engineer at our factory in 6th of October
Key Responsibilities:
Network Design and Implementation:
Design, implement, and manage LAN, WLAN, and WAN networks to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco, FortiGate, Palo Alto, Sophos), and wireless access points.
Deploy MPLS, VPN, and QoS solutions to optimize network performance and support seamless connectivity across multiple locations.
Systems Management:
Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including domain controllers, file servers, and application servers.
Implement and manage virtualization solutions using VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, and Proxmox to optimize server utilization and reduce hardware costs.
Configure and manage backup and storage solutions (NAS, SAN) to ensure data availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Cybersecurity (Limited Scope):
Implement basic security measures, such as configuring firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS), to protect critical IT assets.
Monitor network traffic and logs for potential security threats using tools like ManageEngine EventLog or Splunk.
Assist in conducting periodic network vulnerability assessments and applying necessary patches or updates.
VoIP and Wireless Solutions:
Design and deploy VoIP systems using Cisco CME, Elastix, FreePBX, and Issabel to enhance communication efficiency and reduce costs.
Implement and optimize 2.4G and 5G wireless networks using Cisco AP, UniFi, and Aruba wireless solutions for high-speed connectivity and coverage.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 to 7 years of experience in network engineering and systems administration, with some exposure to cybersecurity.
Networking: CCNP Routing and Switching, CCNA Wireless, CWNA.
Cybersecurity: Basic certifications such as CCNA Security or equivalent are a plus.
Virtualization: VMware ESXi, Proxmox.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in managing and configuring network devices (Cisco, FortiGate, Palo Alto, Sophos, MikroTik).
Experience with network monitoring tools (ManageEngine OpManager, PRTG, Spiceworks).
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN Switching, IP Routing, VPN, MPLS, QoS, and Multicast.
Hands-on experience with VoIP systems (Cisco CME, Elastix, FreePBX, Issabel).
Expertise in wireless networking (Cisco AP, UniFi, Aruba, Ubiquiti).
Proficient in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox).
Experience with backup and storage solutions (NAS, SAN, Veeam Backup System).
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and tools (firewalls, IDS, IPS, SIEM).
