Job Description:
* Administer network workstations, utilizing one or more TCP/IP or non-TCP/IP networking protocols based operating systems.
* Evaluate and/or recommend purchases of computers, network hardware, peripheral equipment, and software.
* Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test, and implement solutions.
* Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, WAN LAN networks, workstations, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems; adds or upgrades and configures modems, disk drives, data acquisition boards, printers, and related equipment.
* Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
* Identify utilization patterns and their effect on operation/system availability and performance expectations.
* Anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures.
* Ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability.
* Investigate, recommend, and install enhancements and operating procedures that optimize network availability
* SQL database query
* Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
Job Requirements:
* BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science, or relevant field.
* 10 to 12 years of experience.
* Knowledge of it functions is a must (network-system admin -help desk -security)
* Proven experience as Head for 3 years at least
* Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
* Excellent communication skills
* Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
* Should be certified (MCSE - CCNA) at least.
* Aware of the ITIL Process.
* Experience in Retail's company preferred.
* Nearby Maadi Area.
Work Condition:
* Working Days: 5 days a week
* Weekends: Friday & Saturday are off
* Working Hours: 9 hours from 9 Am to 6 PM
