We Are hiring: Senior Import & Export Specialist
Industry: Freight Forwarder - Logistics - International Shipping
Work Location: Nasr City
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience 4+ Years in Logistics
• Females are Preferred
Responsibilities:
1. Receive price requests from sales representatives and negotiate with shipping lines and agents, both inside and outside Egypt, to obtain the best pricing.
2. Collect complete shipment details upon execution, send them to the agent, and follow up on the booking issuance process.
3. Monitor container pickup and loading until departure from the loading port and arrival at the destination port.
4. Issue the Certificate of Origin and ensure all its details match the Bill of Lading and invoice.
5. Update shipment data in the customs window system based on final information and instruct the foreign exporter to upload attachments to the CargoX system.
6. Coordinate with the accounting and sales departments to determine the appropriate method for issuing Form 4 for each transaction.
7. Handle export shipments with shipping lines across various systems and coordinate with internal transport and customs clearance teams until the final shipping permit is issued.
8. Enter and review shipping costs with the accounting department.
9. Finalize documents for all transactions, whether executed directly or supervised, to ensure proper invoicing and the necessary final paperwork for customs clearance.
10. Supervise all types of shipments managed by department staff and assist in completing tasks accurately and efficiently.
11. Provide reports to the direct manager on workflow progress and intervene to resolve any arising issues.
