IT Application Support Specialist

Overview

Rouvan Hospital, the largest private hospital in Upper Egypt is hiring!

Position: *" IT Application Support Specialist"*.
Location: Assiut, Egypt.

*Key duties and Responsibilities:*
- Assist hospital staff with application-related issues.
- Respond to user inquiries and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Conduct user training sessions as needed.
- Diagnose and resolve application-related issues.
- Document issues and solutions in the support ticketing system.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hospital software applications.
- Perform regular software updates and patches.
- Ensure that applications are functioning efficiently and securely.
- Create and maintain user manuals and support documentation.
- Document changes and updates to application systems.
- Work closely with the IT team to resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with software vendors for support and updates.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to team projects.
- Ensure that all application support activities comply with hospital policies and procedures.
*Qualifications*:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a healthcare setting.

*Technical Skills:*
- Basic knowledge of healthcare software applications (e.g.), Hospital Information Management Systems (HIMS).
- Understanding of basic networking concepts.
*Soft Skills:*
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

*Residency:* Assiut is a or Egypt is a prefered.
