Job Overview:
The Interior Designer will be responsible for managing interior design projects from concept through to final delivery. You will ensure that each space is both functional and visually appealing, tailored to meet the needs of short-to-medium-term rental properties. This role involves overseeing the design process from start to finish, collaborating with various teams to ensure timely delivery of projects that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Conceptualization: Develop creative interior design concepts that are both practical and aesthetically pleasing, focusing on functionality for rental properties.
Space Planning: Plan and optimize spaces for maximum functionality, incorporating smart storage solutions, flexible layouts, and adaptable designs for different tenant needs.
Furnishing and Decor: Select and source furniture, decor, lighting, and materials that are durable, cost-effective, and align with the design vision.
Budget and Timeline Management: Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring that the design is executed within financial and time constraints while maintaining high standards of quality.
Installation Oversight: Oversee the installation process, ensuring that all furniture and decor are set up according to the design plan and meet quality expectations.
Quality Control: Ensure that the final design meets the expectations of the company and tenants, delivering spaces that are both functional and stylish.
Client-Centered Design: Design spaces with the needs of tenants in mind, creating environments that are comfortable, welcoming, and practical for short-term stays.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
2- 3 years of experience in managing interior design projects, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of space planning, furniture selection, and materials sourcing for functional living spaces.
Proficiency in design software and project management tools.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget.
Strong attention to detail and ability to execute design concepts from start to finish.
