Job Summary: As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance, repair, and optimization of electrical systems and equipment. This includes troubleshooting electrical faults, performing regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including equipment, wiring, and control systems.
• Identify and resolve electrical faults promptly to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Work with a team to design and install new electrical systems or equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and system upgrades.
• Assist with the procurement and management of spare parts and materials.
• Collaborate with other teams to support ongoing projects and improvements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and staff as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• from 2 to 5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance engineering, preferably in a [food industry]
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and PLCs.
• Experience with troubleshooting, repair, and diagnostics of electrical equipment.
• Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and tools.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact with various departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in electrical maintenance or related field.
• Experience with automated systems and machinery.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
