A well-reputed Electrical Engineering firm is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer for Instrumentation and Backup Power Projects.
Engineers with past experience of at least 3 years with UPS and backup power systems are eligible to apply.
Candidate must: -
- have transferable Iqama
- have past experience with electrical solutions such as, substation design, containerized electrical solutions, packaged inverters, LV and MV switchgear, MCCs, GSU and Aux Transformers, Protection Systems, Generators, ISO phase bus, generator breakers, UPS systems, bus ducts, panel boards, switchboards, VFDs, PLCs, Lithium Ion batteries, plant controls, SCADA and related equipment.
- have direct experience with backup power and energy storage systems.
- have held specific technical functions such as field service engineer, project engineer, application engineer, etc.
- have detailed knowledge of electrical equipment, material and supplies used in automation and instrumentation.
- be familiar with testing methods and have good working experience with various testing equipment.
- be willing to be mobile and provide engineering support by responding to requests for maintenance services on UPS & alternative energy sources at the assigned facility
- be able to keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintain supplies; perform preventive maintenance; respond to calls for repairs by OEM when required.
- be able to schedule and undertaking periodic maintenance on all electrical equipment, components, and installations, as assigned
- be able to detect that equipment is in good working order to prevent disruption of activities
- be able to recommend replacement for old or faulty electrical components/fittings to the management
