Contract Engineer

Overview

We're hiring an experienced Contract Engineer to play a crucial role in managing and overseeing contractual agreements within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts while ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies. Additionally, this role requires expertise in claims, contractual risks, and coordination among departments to optimize project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess contract conditions, including responsibilities, obligations, and liabilities of both the client and contractor.
Evaluate factors linked to claim-related costs and time to ensure financial and legal protection.
Draft, negotiate, and administer contracts while ensuring alignment with company policies and industry regulations.
Manage claims and variations effectively, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of contractual obligations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of contract law, industry regulations, and legal terminology.

Job Requirements:
3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Contract Engineer or in a similar role within a relevant industry.
Strong understanding of contract law, claims management, and risk assessment.
Experience in claims, contractual coordination, and interdepartmental communication.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze complex documents and data.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
Fluent in English (reading and writing).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
