Backend Developer with DevOps (Laravel)
On-Site/ Cairo Office, Full Time
*Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Laravel-based web applications, setting the standard for code quality and architecture.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, designers, and QA, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Architect complex systems, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Integrate DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
- Sharing best practices, coding standards, and Laravel-specific knowledge.
- Troubleshoot and resolve challenging technical issues in production -environments with a focus on performance optimization.
- Stay at the forefront of Laravel and backend development trends, experimenting with new technologies and methodologies.
- Leverage tools for containerization (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) to enhance development and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with the team and clients, sharing expertise and insights on Laravel-related matters.
- Contribute to code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.
* Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Laravel.
- Proficiency in PHP, Laravel framework, and related technologies.
- Experience with Node.js and Python is a plus
- Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and query performance (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Experience with Redis and ElasticSearch
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration is a plus
- Basic knowledge and understanding of health monitoring tools for system reliability
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
