Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Structural Engineer / Modeler with proficiency in Revit to join our team. As a BIM Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, management, and coordination of Building Information Models (BIM) for structural systems. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage detailed 3D structural models using Autodesk Revit and other relevant BIM software tools.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (architectural, MEP, etc.) to ensure integration of structural designs with other building systems.
Create and maintain accurate structural drawings and documentation, including plans, sections, details, and schedules.
Conduct clash detection and coordination in BIM to identify and resolve any issues before construction.
Support the development of BIM execution plans and implement BIM standards and protocols.
Assist with design and engineering analysis, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Provide technical support to project teams, addressing any BIM-related issues during the design and construction phases.
Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget, and quality standards.
Participate in regular meetings to discuss project developments, changes, and updates with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on BIM and Revit.
Proficiency in Revit, with a strong understanding of BIM processes and workflows.
Experience with structural design and drafting, including experience in concrete, steel, and timber structures.
Familiarity with other BIM tools (Navisworks, AutoCAD, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Autodesk Revit (Professional or Associate).
Experience with BIM for construction sequencing and 4D/5D modeling.
Knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro) is a plus.
