Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Motion Graphic Designer specializing in 3D & VFX to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and animating motion graphics, 3D models, and visual effects for various digital media projects. This includes developing stunning visual content for commercials, films, social media videos, and interactive media.

Key Responsibilities:

• Motion Graphics Design & Animation:

  • Create high-quality 2D and 3D motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for videos, commercials, social media content, and other multimedia projects.
  • Design and animate 3D models, textures, lighting, and environments using software such as Blender, Autodesk Maya, or Cinema 4D.
  • Integrate visual effects (VFX) into motion graphics, ensuring seamless composition and high-quality results.

• Visual Effects (VFX):

  • Apply advanced VFX techniques to live-action footage, such as compositing, tracking, and rotoscoping, using tools like Adobe After Effects, Nuke, or Houdini.
  • Enhance video footage by adding CGI elements, particle effects, and digital composites.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute complex VFX shots that align with the overall project vision.

• Project Collaboration & Concept Development:

  • Work closely with directors, producers, and other creative team members to understand the vision for each project.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to help generate creative ideas and solutions for video and animation projects.
  • Ensure motion graphics and VFX match the tone and branding of the project, while pushing creative boundaries.

• 3D Modeling & Animation:

  • Create and animate 3D objects, characters, and environments based on project specifications.
  • Utilize 3D animation software to model, texture, light, and render assets.
  • Implement animation principles such as timing, movement, and rigging to create realistic 3D animations.

• Post-Production & Quality Control:

  • Edit and refine motion graphics and VFX during post-production to ensure visual quality and alignment with client expectations.
  • Manage assets, file organization, and version control to ensure a smooth production process.
  • Maintain high standards for visual integrity, consistency, and accuracy throughout the production cycle.

• Software Mastery & Technical Skills:

  • Stay up to date with the latest motion graphics, 3D animation, and VFX software and industry trends.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to 3D animation, rendering, and compositing.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Motion Graphics, Visual Effects, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in 3D motion graphics design, VFX, and animation.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling and animation software such as Blender, Autodesk Maya, Cinema 4D, and Houdini.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other post-production tools.
• Experience with VFX tools for compositing, tracking, and rotoscoping (e.g., Nuke, Mocha).
• Experience in creating high-quality 3D environments, character animation, and realistic rendering.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, lighting, textures, and color theory.
• Familiarity with video editing, compositing, and motion graphics integration.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with scripting or automation in 3D software (Python, MEL, etc.).
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity for real-time animation and interactive media.
• Experience in creating VR/AR content or interactive experiences.
• Familiarity with Cinema 4D’s MoGraph toolset and advanced rendering techniques.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
