We’re Hiring: Junior Test Automation Engineer
We’re looking for a Junior Test Automation Engineer who is passionate about quality, automation, and continuously improving testing practices. In this role, you’ll help shape our QA processes, build robust automated test suites, and work closely with our development team to deliver high-quality software.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
Implement and enhance test automation frameworks.
Automate functional test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
Continuously evaluate and improve testing tools and practices.
Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
Set up and manage test environments; support release pipelines.
Provide regular, clear status updates on test progress and quality metrics.
Requirements
1–2 years of hands-on experience in test automation, with a focus on mobile apps.
Solid understanding of software quality assurance methodologies.
Proficiency in Java.
Experience with Appium (mandatory).
Experience with Selenium.
Familiarity with RestAssured.
Experience using TestNG or JUnit.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Basic knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and web technologies.
Familiarity with tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Jira.
Understanding of CI/CD integration with automated testing.
ISTQB certification is a plus.
A passion for learning, sharing knowledge, and improving team capabilities.
