We are looking for a Server Management consultant with rich Experience :
Responsibility include:
To proactively monitor the system health and take corrective actions so that a downtime is avoided or minimized. The Service should also ensure timely recommendations on usage and reliability of the System for any capacity or upgrade analysis
System Administration Tasks
Creating and managing directory structures
Creating and managing domains
Creating and managing volumes
Assign Protocol addresses
Creating and managing Forests/Trees/groups/domains etc.
Manage Multiple interfaces and IP Addresses
Manage Clusters
Manage Access rights & Folders
User Management Services
Creation of new users and deletion of existing users on request.
Create and maintain users groups
Create and maintain users profiles
Create login and logon scripts
Assigning and Maintaining user access rights as per policies defined and agreed upon by CLIENT
Assign and maintain space usage restriction
Technologies include:
Virtualization Technologies: Hypervisors, Vmware, HyperV, Citrix, Xen, Cloud Foundry,
Software- Standard OS’s, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, Databases – SQL, Oracle, MSSql
Office 365 ,Windows Desktops ,Windows Servers , Active Directory & Group Policy
Familiar with ITIL and respond to the client’s ticket queue and escalated ticket items.
5+ years of corporate IT or consulting experience
3+ years of experience in an Infrastructure Generalist or Systems ans Server Administrator role
Experience creating or maintaining process within an ITIL framework
Experience with Remedy is a plus, experience with an ITSM toolset is required
Relevant certification a Plus
Proven experience in delivering high quality customer service
Strong communication (written and verbal) skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of an organization (technical and executive)
Ability to stay calm in high pressure and deadline-driven situations
Excellent time management, problem solving and organization skills
Client, service and team-oriented
Ability to produce effective documentation; ticket notes, client communications, internal process documents and internal communications
Familiar with Networking, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud technologies
