Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Commission and start-up of new instrumentation and automation systems to ensure full functionality and accuracy.
Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate field instruments and control systems, including PLC, DCS, and control circuits.
Configure and test communication devices, including integration with control networks.
Monitor and control spare parts stock for instrumentation equipment to avoid delays.
Inspect and approve newly delivered instruments and spare parts.
Develop and update test procedures for calibration and function checks.
Analyze failures, document issues, and recommend improvements to minimize downtime.
Design, modify, and maintain control systems, including logic modifications and system upgrades.
Maintain existing systems, including PLC, DCS, and VFDs, ensuring compatibility and protection.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience (preferably in Oil & Gas sector).
Solid understanding of classic control principles and circuit design.
Knowledge of PLC/DCS panels, control systems, and automation equipment.
Familiar with protection devices and VFDs, including PLC integration.
Proficient in English communication (written and verbal).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Team player with initiative and leadership skills.
Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Familiar with test/calibration tools and industry standards (ISA, IEC).
