Job Summary:
The Chief Accountant oversees all accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves managing financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, auditing, and tax compliance while leading an accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
Supervise accounting staff and ensure smooth operations
Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Coordinate with auditors and manage the audit process
Optimize accounting systems and automation
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred)
Certification: CPA preferred
Experience: Minimum 10+ years in accounting roles
Skills: Strong leadership, analytical mindset, and proficiency in Excel & ERP systems
